MAT Guide |
This handbook describes the occupancy requirements and procedures governing
the HUD-subsidized multifamily housing programs identified in paragraph 1-2.
The handbook also addresses the procedures by which households apply for
housing and the rights and responsibilities of in-place tenants and property
owners. |
This technical-level guide is intended to be used by the technical resource staff supporting Owners, Management Agents, State Agencies, Industry and Contract Administrators in implementing procedures for submitting automatic transactions/data to TRACS for processing. This guide should also be used in conjunction with the HUD 4350.3 Occupancy Handbook. |

The HUD-2530 form initiates the approval process for Industry entities who would participate in a HUD project. |

of Agriculture (USDA). It operates a broad range
of programs that were formerly administered by
the Farmers Home Administration to support
affordable housing and community development
in rural areas. RHS both provides direct loans (made and serviced by USDA staff) and also
guarantees loans for mortgages extended and
serviced by others. |

ability to query the TRACS system through
Secure Systems (WASS). These applications can be used to retrieve detailed information and
reports about a property’s voucher, tenant, address, and certification information currently
stored in TRACS. |
